In ancient times, there was a Great King name Hezekiah, who got sick and was going to die.
Then God sent "Isaiah" the prophet, who came to him and said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Get ready, for it is time for you to die. You will not recover from this sickness.”
Hearing to this, Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and said, “O Lord, please remember me, how I have walked before you and been faithful with my whole heart and have done what is good in your sight!”
This is what he prays, how short his prayer to the Lord - "Remember me"
He reminds the Lord of his faithfulness & his done God's willingness.
He didn't prayed for long hours & hours, or days & nights.
He didn't kneel down, or shouted at loud voice.
He just faced to the wall and cries with broken heart and speaks unto the Lord in his heart.
"Remember me" - this was his short & sweet message to the Lord.
Lord hears his prayer through his heart and heals him immediately and then after he lived & ruled for 15 more years. Similarly, there were two thieves who were also crucified along with Jesus.
One of the thief blasphemies on Jesus and laughs, whereas the other thief scolds that laughing thief and praises Jesus.
He says, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."
Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."
Both of their prayers were so simple & short - "REMEMBER ME" My dear brothers and sisters, in our life also, there may come-up such a situation that, we might be in good position whereas our brothers/sisters may be in worst position and they might have done some unliked things/work against you. At this time we should "Remember them"; remember their good things, which they did to us at past.
When you just remind their good things then there enters a fruit of kindness & goodness in your spirit and you start forgiving others with all your heart and you will really experience a great joy, which haven't been experienced before.
Show your love & forgiveness to others whenever they're in need, whenever you got such opportunity, because..
Book of 1- Corinthians says nobody is good/righteous in this world, but reading after this, the book of 2-Corinthians says in-love & in-christ everybody is pure & holy, all are good/righteous in this world. St. Peter asks how many times we should forgive Lord?
God answers 7*70 times; means we should keep on forgiving.
"Forgive Others to be Forgiven" God Bless You!
