The Bible is filled with special "characters" or "humans".
Yes! The characters in Bible are true and these humans were real people with real problems, just like us.
The Bible does not shy away from presenting both the strengths and weaknesses of those it portrays.
Adam and Eve were disobedient blame-shifters.
Abraham was a liar.
Jacob was a schemer.
Joseph had somewhat of the "I'm better than you" attitude.
Moses make excuses.
Saul was jealous.
David was an adulterer.
Solomon was the smartest fool in the history of the world.
Elijah seemed to be somewhat bi-polar.
Peter definitely had "foot-in-mouth" disease.
The list goes on and on...
This makes these characters in the Bible are "practical" in the sense that we can relate to them and we can educated in the sense that we can learn from their successes and failures.
No matter if our personality struggles, there is someone in the Bible you can relate to and learn from.
The Apostle Paul wrote, "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ" (1 Corinthians 11:1).
*JESUS - THE MESSIAH*
Ultimately, our goal must be in following God, we must adopt "JESUS" characteristics by following His words and became like Him as all these Bible characters did.
These Bible characters are occurred as an examples for us, and these were written down as warnings for us; to keep our hearts away from evil things as like they did, and succeed as like they did by "FAITH".
Temptation is common for all. No one can escape from temptation, even Jesus Christ was tempted by satan, and He succeeded.
God is faithful; he will not let you to be tempted, which you cannot bear.
Remember that, even if you're tempted, then he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it" (1 Corinthians 10:6-13). Therefore, Let us we all...
Walk like...Enoch
Worship like...Abel
Work like...Nehemiah
Weep like...Jeremiah
Obey like...Noah/Job
Lead like...Moses
Pray like...Daniel
Win like...Paul,
*all of the above*
Live like...JESUS "Try to be alike God, as you're created in his own image." (Ephesians 5:1) Stay Blessed in Christ! Amen!
