Temptation of Satan! (How to escape?)
1. How does the devil tempt me?
▪(Luke. 4:3)
Then devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread."
2. Why does the devil tempt me?
▪(Genesis 3:1-6)
Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
“You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
3. At what point does temptation become sin?
▪(Matthew 4:1)
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
4. How do I handle temptation?
▪(Matthew 26:40,41; Luke 4:1-13; 1Corinthians 10:13).
Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter. “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
*Temptation is Inevitable.*
Know that, no matter how hard you strive, it's impossible to live a life without temptations. Even the God is been tempted, then what we are. Just follow the christ that temptation not lead to sin, but its victory leads to eternal & everlasting life.
